Friends Foundation and Born Stronger Apparel Team Up For The Carlsbad 5000

Fast Friends Foundation (FFF) and Born Stronger Apparel are joining forces to fight hunger this weekend, April 11th, at the Carlsbad 5000. They will be activating a street team to walk the course collecting CRV recyclables that will in turn be cashed in for charitable causes. All funds collected from the CRV program will go to FFF for distribution to various charities and causes that support the fight against world hunger. “ This is a great opportunity to get people active in helping others”, says Born Stronger representative Otto Nebel. “ The goal of the program is to engage the community for a good cause, and what better venue then the Carlsbad 5000”.  All those donating their CRV's will receive discounts on Born Stronger apparel the day of the race at the Born Stronger booth. Peace Iced Tea will also be providing free drinks while supplies last.
