Our Soldiers Are Truly BORN STRONGER

Military amputee on rock climbing wall

Last month the United States military hit a grisly milestone. The number of American servicemen and women who lost a limb in Iraq or Afghanistan went over 1,000.

The majority of these amputees make their way to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. where the healing process truly begins.

Together the soldiers support each other during their recovery. It doesn’t matter what branch of the military a soldier is in, he can count on another soldier being there to make sure he reaches his goals and go on to live a normal life.

Whether their goal is to simply return home and hold their kids or return to active combat duty, these soldiers push, prod and support each other to be all they can be. We can all take a lesson from these brave men and women. They are truly BORN STRONGER.
