The first time I ever went to a jiu-jitsu class, the instructor showed us how to do a flying arm bar.

Needless to say, everyone else was more experienced than I and I screwed it up royally. However, not too long ago we went over it again and I was able to pull it off. When you do it successfully it feels great. It's one of those awesome submissions that you'll love to have in your arsenal.
