The Greatest Dynasty In SportsPosted by danb Writing on Fanhouse.com last month, writer Greg Couch told the story of champion tennis player, Ester Vergeer. What makes Ester different isn’t her style of play or on-court fashion statements. Ester plays in a wheelchair. In fact, she plays so well that she hasn’t lost a match in seven years. You read that right…seven years. The greatest dynasty in sports doesn’t play in the house that Ruth built, wear Celtic green or skate in the Motor City. She doesn’t dunk, hit home runs or knock people out. The tools of her trade are a racquet and a chair. And she wields them with the skill of a master craftswoman. Ester Vergeer is truly BORN STRONGER. |
