It’s pretty lonely in my condo at night. Just the dog, the occasional movie and me. It wasn’t always that way. Just a few months back there was a houseful of people-my son, my ex-wife, her daughter and myself. But they all moved out after the divorce in August.

At WEC 42, Rani Yahya submitted his opponent for his third straight first round submission and also earned his third straight “Submission of the Night” bonus in the WEC. He defeated his opponent with a classic North-South choke. Check out the proper way to execute this choke.<!--EndFragment-->

This weekend the world's best grapplers will arrive in beautiful Morristown, New Jersey to compete in the 2009 Grapplers Quest. The season 9 finale of Spike TV's The Ultimate Fighter didn't disappoint. Unfortunately for the Americans, the night ended with a sweep by the United Kingdom in both weight classes. We are pleased to announce that WEC champion, Jamie Varner has joined the Born Stronger Fight Team. Varner will make an appearance at our booth during the UFC Fan Expo (Booth #917).

Varner, who fights out of Arizona Combat Sports holds a career record of 16-2-2 with five knockouts and nine victories by way of submission. His most recent victory came in the form of a split decision over Donald Cerrone at WEC 38.
