This season’s installment of The Ultimate Fighter on SpikeTV had its ups and downs. After touting Kimbo in seemingly every single commercial the show aired, the YouTube sensation was beaten in just the third episode of the show. A Kimbo comeback that never even happened was then dangled in front of our noses like a carrot stick for the remainder of the season. It also had a few other surprises. Kimbo Slice—the brawling YouTube legend vs. Roy “Big Country Nelson—the flabby, Burger King eating, former IFL champ.

But at the end of the night the fight was anything but extraordinary. Big Country had proven what many MMA experts had always known. Kimbo Slice is a one trick pony.

 
 

TUF Season 10 Starts Out With a Bang

It seems like only yesterday that the UK guys showed the fighters from the US that the Brits know a thing or two about tangling in the octagon. But The Ultimate Fighter is back for it's tenth season and they've brought along a stable of 16 heavyweights itching to get a UFC contract. If the first episode is any indication, this season may turn out to be the most explosive yet.

Take a good long look at Brock Lesnar. With that enormous frame and sword tattooed on his abdomen it’s hard not to notice how intimidating he is. Surely he’s not a man to be trifled with. But the same was said about Kimbo Slice. And we all know how Kimbo’s MMA career turned out.
